The Light Within


There is a light within that is alive and brings new life. The grasses, flowers and every living thing has the ability to reveal it. May we open wide not just our eyes but also our heart and take it in.

  Gone to Spain...Not me but my paintings! I was invited to be represented at a new gallery in Madrid, Spain and four Lyrical Expressions have now arrived at  Monat Gallery :   Nature Rejoices, Jubilation, Invitation and Continuous Resolutions.  These are the works that will be exhibited. Two Paintings will be showing at the Monaco Art Fair with Monat Gallery in August and a group exhibit will be arranged sometime this year. I will keep you posted about the dates of the exhibitions and I am very happy to announce the first international exhibition of Appleby originals. These contemporary expressions are like colourful movements of a song in which I focused on vibrant colour flow, with repetitions and varied with texturing of brushes and palette knives. Monaco Art Fair

I am thankful for the opportunity for my work to travel to new locations to be experienced by new audiences and am grateful to Monat Gallery for their collaboration with this exhibition and for representing me and my artwork. Art is really something that feeds our soul and when an artist gets an opportunity to show their work it makes the solitary work of producing it a way of connecting and building on it's process.  This is my first International Art Fair and it happens to be in beautiful Monaco.
